I notice again and again that I'm a slave to my patterns
Patterns I've developed as a child that never leave me alone
A child that turned into an adult with free will
But always chooses the same patterns, as if addicted to the disease

Take a step back and look at the sick whirlpool
Like a thick batter made of emotions, experiences, urges, memories and stories
Engraved into my history, engraved into my sub conscious
Until I will control them, they will control me like an animal

They pull like a magnet towards pleasure, afraid of pain

There is no escape from researching the borderline
The fine line between genius and madness
Between reality and imagination, passion and numbness
Awakening and depression
There is no escape from researching the borderline

Between disease and medicine, apathy and interest
What always comes back and what goes away with time

Only the borderline is where logic resides
On both sides, a steep disastrous slope

I notice again and again that the only solution
Is to tranced beyond the contradicting pairs
Recognizing that the coin is whole and not just heads or tails
From concentration on the borderline, the two sides fade away
