אבות אבותינו מתהפכים בקברם
את אלה שעודם בחיים אף אחד לא שואל לדעתם
אנשים צעירים מהוריי עם מערות שחורות במקום עיניים
חורצים את גורל נכדיי מבלי לחשוב פעמיים
רודפים תהילה שלעולם לא תגיע
עסוקים בעצמם עיוורים לעתיד שמופיע
אל מול המערות השחורות באותיות של קידוש לבנה
מנטליות של אוכל נבלות, אהבת שווא של זונה

אם רק היה אפשר לקבל בחזרה

שיקימו מחדש את מועצת זקני ציון
שישבו לקפה עם ממשיכי דרכם הבזויים
ויסבירו להם בנחת את המרחק התהומי
שבין התוכנית המקורית החלום והחזון
לבדיחה שקוראת כאן בשמם, לבושה, לביזיון

הקמנו ארץ שאוכלת יושביה
בנינו ארץ שעוכרת אוהביה
חיים במדינה שמבריחה תושביה
נגמר התקציב לחלב ולדבש, נשארה רק דיזנטריה
חיים בלי אוויר, שופכים את הרפש לנהר
אבל כל הנהרות האישיים זורמים אל הים שהוא כולם
ים מלא בדמעות ודם
כתמים אדומים על סמרטוט כחול ולבן

פעם תליתי את איכות החיים שלי במי ששולט
אחר כך גיליתי שטבעו של היהודי להיות משוטט
פעם חשבתי שמה חשוב זה להיות צודק
פעם כעסתי, היום אני צוחק

אם משהו דבק בי מהגנום היהודי
זה שאני חי בשלווה כנווד בלי מדינה "משלי"
לא נותן ל"מקום" או ל"בית" לערער את האמונה
לא תולה בהם מיליגרם של תקווה לישועה
מאמין בעצמי, בהווה ובמה שסביבי

ERETZ HA KODESH – THE HOLY LAND

Our ancestors are turning in their graves at the sight of today's politicians and religious icons ruling over what was once their un-imagined fantasy, a land of milk and honey, a home for all immigrant, persecuted Jews.
The pioneering founders of our land, immigrants for so many decades, surviving the holocaust and endless years of racism all over Europe, north Africa and the middle east, were unable and unwilling to see how the world was again trying to cover its own mess by a ridiculous solution at the expense of creating new immigrants, new occupation, a new conflict with the native Palestinians.
Today's politicians, 2nd and 3rd generation to the founders of our country, are no longer motivated by the same ideals or ethics as the pioneers were, trying to create a safe haven for their people and their children at any cost, (which is no excuse to some of their actions, but at least explains their motivation). They are motivated solely by money, power and ignorant - childish religious and nationalist beliefs.

I used to tie the quality of my life with those people and how well they do their jobs, managing "my" country. I then understood that the only part of the "Jewish gene" that stuck to me is that I can adjust easily to life in other countries and don’t need "my" country or a "home" to help me define myself.
I believe in the self, in the present and in my surroundings, in my ability to create a healthy space for myself and the people around me, a space where love, happiness and morals are more important than nationality, a space I can aspire to go to sleep and wake up in peacefully.
